Residents of Centurian Park, comprising O2 Valley, Low-rise, Terrace Homes, and Tropical Garden, have strongly opposed amendments to Amrapali’s original development plans without consulting all stakeholders. In a massive protest held at Tech Zone-IV, Greater Noida West, homeowners expressed their outrage against the National Building Construction Corporation (NBCC) over multiple unresolved issues that directly impact their community’s safety, environment, and overall quality of life.
The primary grievance among residents revolves around NBCC’s decision to allocate land to Girdhari Lal Construction for new high-rise towers. According to the revised plan, eight 30-story towers and one towering 43-story structure will be constructed in the area originally designated for a senior secondary school, Dhoni Stadium, and commercial spaces. Residents argue that this abrupt change will not only deprive the community of essential public amenities but will also block natural sunlight for O2 Valley and surrounding societies, drastically altering their living conditions.
Security concerns have also fueled the protest, particularly regarding NBCC’s directive to demolish the boundary wall of O2 Valley. Homeowners fear that this will compromise their safety, as the boundary wall serves as a protective barrier against unauthorized access. Additionally, NBCC’s proposed plan to construct new roads behind the F-15 and F-16 towers has alarmed residents, who believe it will lead to increased traffic congestion and pose serious safety risks to pedestrians and children in the area.
@ACPBuyers @2_noida pic.twitter.com/st5BI0OYB1

Environmental degradation due to ongoing and proposed construction activities remains another significant concern. Protesters highlighted that the contractor has failed to implement proper dust control measures, leading to severe air pollution in and around O2 Valley. The large-scale use of groundwater for construction purposes has also triggered fears of depleting water levels in the region, adding to the growing list of grievances.
Another long-standing issue pertains to inadequate parking facilities in O2 Valley. The society currently has only 350 designated parking spots for 800 flats, leaving hundreds of families without a secure place to park their vehicles. Residents claim that despite repeated assurances from NBCC, no concrete steps have been taken to resolve the issue, exacerbating daily frustrations for homeowners.
In response to these pressing concerns, the residents of Centurion Park are demanding an immediate halt to all construction activities until a proper consensus is reached between the court receiver, NBCC, and the stakeholders of O2 Valley, Low-rise, Terrace Homes, and Tropical Garden. They have also submitted a formal complaint to the contractor, insisting that no further amendments to Amrapali’s plans be implemented without consulting all affected stakeholders.
The protest reflects the community’s growing dissatisfaction with unilateral decision-making that disregards the interests of homeowners. Residents are now awaiting a response from NBCC and relevant authorities to ensure that their concerns are addressed before any further developments take place. As tensions escalate, the people of Centurion Park remain firm in their demand for transparency, fairness, and a collaborative approach to any future changes in their housing society’s infrastructure.
