Nepal passes new map, declares three areas of India as its own

Nepal’s parliament on Saturday passed a bill to change the map to describe some areas of India as its own. As per Nepal’s media portals, The bill was brought to amend the constitution. The bill was introduced by the Law Minister of Nepal, Dr. Shivmaya Tumbad. It got 258 votes in support. There was not a single vote in protest. Two-thirds of the votes were needed to get the bill passed in the 275-member parliament.

At the same time, it has almost eliminated the expectation of talks between India and Nepal regarding the ongoing border dispute. Significantly, this new map of Nepal has claimed strategic areas such as Lipulekh, Kalapani, and Limpiyadhura along the Indian border.

First China, and now Nepal from last few month its gets increase very fast and our border disputes are gettings more complicated now. Our Indian government has not yet released any comment on the latest Nepal new map news, let see how we are going handle this new issue with the Nepal.
