Extending Lockdown by 10 Days in Telangana This decision was taken in a meeting of the state cabinet chaired by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao.
Let us tell you that the lockdown was about to end on June 9, but now the government has extended the lockdown for 10 more days from June 10.
Although the cabinet has decided to extend this relaxation from 6 am to 5 pm, but according to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office, a grace period of one hour will be given so that people can return home.
The Chief Minister directed the administration to ensure strict implementation of the lockdown from 6 am to 6 pm the next day. However, the cabinet decided that the lockdown will continue in seven assembly constituencies (Sattupalli, Madhira, Nalgonda, Nagarjuna Sagar, Deverakonda, Munugode, and Nadiad) with the current relaxation time as the COVID situation is yet to be fully brought under control.
The state government had announced a 12-day lockdown from May 10 to check the rise in coronavirus cases, but it has been extended twice so far.
