Investigation team revealed, Imran was fired from 4 different places

The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) probing the attack on former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has made a big disclosure. According to the JIT, shots were fired at Imran Khan from not one but four different places. These bullets were fired by 4 shooters. One of them has been arrested. Not only this, according to the JIT, the bullets were fired from a very high height. So on the other hand, Home Minister of Pakistan’s Punjab province Omar Sarfaraz Cheema had said that the attack on Imran Khan was a well thought out conspiracy. He further said- Naveed is a trained killer and he was present at the spot along with his associates. 

Naveed also failed in the polygraph test. He had told the police that the DJ was playing at the time of Azaan in Imran’s rally, so he wanted to kill Imran. There was a fatal attack on Imran Khan during a rally on 3 November in Wazirabad. During this, a shooter Naveed Mehar was arrested. Who were the remaining three shooters and with which gun they fired, it could not be ascertained at the moment. When Khan was attacked, he was standing with his supporters on a container. Then Naveed, the attacker standing very close to the container, opened fire with an AK-47. He had 3 bullets in his leg. A member of the JIT said, the investigation of the JIT is almost complete. Some reports are yet to come from the Punjab Forensic Science Agency. After this, the complete investigation report will be issued. A total of 13 people were injured in the attack. The JIT has also mentioned lapses in the security arrangements during the long march. The JIT was constituted by the Punjab government. Lahore’s Additional IG Ghulam Mehmood Dogar was made the head of the JIT.
