New Delhi 29, Sep (News Galiyara): A Cabinet meeting was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. At this crucial meeting, Modi reviewed the progress report on a number of projects.
According to sources, at a meeting on Tuesday, Union Minister of Commerce, Consumer and Food and Supplies Minister Piyush Goyal and Union Minister Jal Shakti Gajendra Singh Shekhawat provided information on various projects and presented a presentation at the meeting on its implementation. The Prime Minister also issued a number of directives regarding these plans.
In the last round of the meeting, an open meeting was held where several ministers presented their proposals to the Prime Minister on the issue of improving government performance.
Since taking office, the Prime Minister has continued to hold Cabinet meetings in this manner from time to time apart from Cabinet meetings. Only Cabinet ministers are involved in Cabinet meetings and are called only when a ministerial matter is included in the agenda. However, the Council of Ministers has three ministers (Cabinet ministers, government ministers – freelancers and government ministers).
The meeting was called ‘Chintan Shivir’ where young and new ministers learn the style of work from senior and experienced ministers and receive the guidance of the Prime Minister.
This was the fourth time since the reshuffle in the Union Cabinet on July 7 when the Prime Minister convened a meeting of the Council of Ministers. At the last meeting, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan made the presentation.
