Every year on 14 June, countries around the world celebrate World Blood Donor Day. The event, established in 2004, serves to raise awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products and to thank blood donors for their voluntary, life-saving gifts of blood.
Bandra’s extravagance salon A’Kreations Hair and Beyond sorted out a blood gift camp to check the World Blood Donor Day and add to the respectable motivation. The camp was set with a tie-up with the Red Boys Foundation and in a joint effort with the Samarpan Blood Bank at the Sarvodaya Hospital so as to help kids experiencing Thalassemia. This disease is an acquired blood issue that is described by less oxygen-conveying protein and less than normal red platelets in the body. In excess of 30 individuals, including the staff, assembled at the salon premises to give blood. Activities like these are extraordinary approaches to have any kind of effect in the public eye, in this way, persuading individuals to be increasingly associated and adding to the network’s development.
