Atrimed Biotech Launches Plant Science Range Anti Microbial Product

Bangalore, Karnataka, India Atrimed Biotech an LLP, incubated at the Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre (BBC), Bangalore Helix Biotech Park, and Institute for Bioinformatics & Applied Biotechnology (IBAB), Bangalore, today announced that their new “Plant Science range Anti-microbial Face Wash”, developed, incubated and mentored at Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre (BBC) was launched by Hon’ble ITBT Minister &at Deputy Chief Minister Shri Ashwath Narayana, Govt of Karnataka, at Department of Electronics, IT, BT and S&T at Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre (BBC). The launched product contains herbal antimicrobials, developed by Dr Latha Damle and team from Atrimed.

During the launch, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister stated that, “These technologies and products developed by the start ups at BBC shows that Karnataka has emerged as a leading state in developing solutions to fight the COVID-19 pandemic and is a result of robust Innovation ecosystem present here.” Shri Ramana Reddy, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary to the Department of Electronics, IT, BT and S&T, Government of Karnataka and Chairman, BBCsaid, “We are very proud to launch the Technologies and Products in a timely manner to fight the pandemic and some more Technologies and Products are in the pipeline.” Ms. Meena Nagaraj, Director, Directorate of IT, BT and Managing Director, Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society (KITS)said, “I congratulate the Innovators who have developed these Technologies and Products and I assure them of all possible support in facilitating marketing and distribution.”

Dr. Hrishikesh Damle, Founder and M D, Atrimed Biotech said that, “The product which is part of BBC, KITS has received support from the Department in facilitating Incubation and mentorship at BBC and funding through idea 2PoC/elevate scheme from KITS.” The product is developed in short time and this demonstrates that the Incubation, facilitation, funding and ecosystem building efforts by BBC.

Delhi government will prepare 5,000 health assistants in view of the third wave of corona

In an important announcement today, the Delhi government said that it will prepare 5,000 health assistants as a precaution in the wake of the third wave of corona. Under this ambitious project of Delhi Government, Indraprastha University will start training the youth gradually.

Talking about this project, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, “In the first and second wave of corona we have seen a shortage of medical and paramedical staff. So the government has an ambitious plan, under which 5000 health assistants will be prepared.”

Describing the outline of the project, Arvind Kejriwal said, “Indraprastha (IP) University will train 5000 youth sequentially for every 2 weeks. After that they will be given basic training in 9 premier medical institutes of Delhi.

Clearing doubts about the usefulness of health assistants prepared after just two weeks of training and training, Kejriwal said that these health assistants will work as assistants to doctor-nurse. They will be given basic training in nursing, paramedics, life saving, first aid and home care. Online applications for this can be filled from tomorrow, Thursday, June 17. The training will start from June 28. For this the qualification is 12th pass and age limit is more than 18 years.

This plan of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is prima facie looking very futuristic, but the reality will be known only after its implementation. It is to be known that with this announcement of Kejriwal, his critics have started to satire on this plan.
